We offer a full time course which is 3 weeks Monday - Friday 7am to 4 pm. Our
part time course is Saturday and Sunday only 7am to 4pm for 8 weekends. Full
time course starts every Monday and our part time course starts the first Saturday
of every month (subject to availability). We also offer a refresher course for
drivers who have been out of the industry for over 6 months and need to brush up
or satisfy insurance requirements. Our instructors do not just tell you to rev it up
and throw it in gear! They teach you what gear goes with what speed at what rpm
and this is just a example of the detailed training you will receive at A.T.D.T. We

piece of mind of having several job offers even before you graduate. Some of the
companies you have to choose from are Central Refrigeration, Covenant, H.O.
Wolding, McElroy, Schneider, Swift, TMC, Trans Am, U.S. Express, Werner and
Wiley Sanders just to name a few. Most of these companies offer tuition
reimbursement which means they will pay for your training without you signing a

on the job making $800.00 to $1,000.00 a week plus benefits. Some companies
offer you home time during the week and every weekend, or over the road. It is

the state CDL Manual. This prepares you for your written test given by the state in
order to obtain your CDL permit. Weeks 2 and 3 will be spent on the driving range

tractor trailer on our nations highways. You will be taught how to handle all types
of traffic situations over different kinds of terrain and with varied lengths and
widths. You will have the opportunity to drive through large and small cities and
towns to be sure you experience all types of traffic.
